What do I do?

Currently, I work for Marketing Research Services, Inc., one of the top market research companies in the nation. It is one of the few full-service research companies, participating and excelling in all areas of research from phone and internet surveys to focus groups and concept testing. All data collection, calculation, analysis and reporting are done in-house. As the Staff Assistant, I aid project and analytical services in testing and troubleshooting survey scripts before they are used in the field, and verifying collected data before and after analysis takes place to ensure that our clients are provided with accurate data in the final reports which I am responsible for compiling.
My educational background in business economics and marketing, as well as my willingness to learn new things, has provided me with the opportunity of taking on additional responsibilities within the company, specifically in our own marketing department. In addition to my other duties, I often assist our marketing department in putting together materials for mail outs and professional networking events, as well as researching and contacting potential clients in order to generate new business. In the near future, I plan to use my people skills and creative talents to add value to my company by coming up with new, and exciting ways of reaching perspective clients. In addition to market research, I believe the skills I possess may be of value in other areas of interest to me, including marketing, advertising and brand management. I am always looking for new opportunities where I can make the most of my ability.
